Jackie Evancho

My wife and I watched and listened to this awesome young 10 year old girl singing on America’s Got Talent last year 2010 and were both in total awe with her performance.
I remember closing my eyes and listened to her voice and a tear came out of my eye and I had goosebumps and chills went down my back. I have never heard such a heavenly voice from someone so young. We watched every episode right up to the finals and were totally blown away when she came in second place. This little girl is amazing & awesome and regardless of where she finished in the AGT, she is going to be number 1 not only in our hearts but also in the hearts of many people that heard her sing. To this day we still follow her career. Randy & Sharon Lockhart

How blessed we are to witness and follow her wonderful future.

The Juiceman

The Juiceman Jonathan Shaw: President and CEO of Too Nubian Entertainment
What began as a marketing assignment in 1991 has now grown to become Too Nubian Entertainment. The assignment was to prepare a plan to market and develop your business for the next 5 years. It was therefore conceivable that given his passion for music and his involvement in the entertainment industry, that this assignment would involve music.

Jonathan has been involved in music for most of his life. His foray into the public spotlight began with the legendary “Turntable Kings of Ontario” (TKO). His voice, his style, his connection with the crowd, and his raw talent on the turntables earned him instant recognition that began his now stellar career in the music business.

Jonathan’s career has been as extensive as it has been expansive, from DJ, to the voice of commercials, to radio personality. His radio career began with CHRY as a volunteer where he spent some 13 years with the station. During that time from 1995 – 2001 serving as Radio Programmer and host of the Joyride talk show.

Kevin Collins

Music is a great part of the life of Kevin Collins. Being raised in a musical family, music was an everyday event! His grandmother, Agnes (Tobin) Collins of Ship Cove, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, was the start of the musical link in the Collins’ family. Kevin’s father, Tony Collins, carried on the family tradition for his lifetime, and now Kevin continues to offer music – lovers his best!

Kevin started singing at the tender age of six, and started publicly performing at age 13.

Spending the majority of his childhood days at his grandmothers house, Kevin learned to have great respect for his grandmother and seniors. One of Kevin’s releases entitled, “My Old Homestead” was lovingly dedicated to his grandmother! On a trip to Boston, with his grandmother, eight year old Kevin, performed on stage with Leroy Van Dyke and received a standing ovation.

Kevin is very proud of the fact that his grandfather, Charles Collins, a resident of Bond’s Path, Placentia was a mail-carrier for 29 years. Charles Collins delivered mail from Placentia to Patrick’s Cove on the Cape Shore by horse and buggy for a distance of 15 miles year ‘round for 29 years. He later worked in the lumber woods for the remainder of his life until his death at age 55. He left behind a wife and 12 children. A story is often told of how a visitor once said to Mrs. Agnes Collins that she should put some of her children in an orphanage, if she was to survive, but her exact reply was, “if this ship sinks, I will go down with her”, this quote has turned up in a well-known song which Kevin wrote entitled, “Long Gone Are The Days”. Mrs. Agnes Collins played a very important part in the life of Kevin Collins.
